Inner-city construction sites are subject to significant logistical and traffic planning requirements and have their own dynamics.
In the past, delivery traffic was only planned up to the delivery zone. Today , parking and unloading locations, points of use, cranes, hoists and elevators and mobile unloading scaffolds can be planned and managed with Smartlog . Changes in the arrangement within the construction site can be adjusted according to the progress of construction.
This ensures smooth supply and disposal of the construction site as well as optimized resource utilization.
The time slot management tool also saves information about when materials should be delivered, after all , some material orders have to be activated months in advance when the details of the delivery and resource booking have not yet been thought of.

SWISS LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SOFTWARE REDEFINES EVENT LOGISTICS
The swiss-based software company Smart Logistics AG invented Smartlog, a software, which maps all event-related logistics processes digitally and helps all parties involved to plan, coordinate and execute the respective tasks more efficiently.
Cost pressure, rising customer demands, industry digitalization as well as sustainability and rising awareness for environmental issues force companies to respond to these demands and needs. Challenges force innovation and the intention was to build a software, which is able to integrate all logistics processes and create a transparency for customers, service providers in general, logistics provider specifically and last, but not least event organizers.
Event organizers -with or without own fairgrounds- are able to get a clear picture of all processes and activities of their partners at place. Transparency and the improved information availability lead to better planning and a more efficient use of personnel and equipment, which consequently contributes to environment protection. Vehicle Management, one of several modules of the software, contains a slot booking system, where all transports to and from an event need to be registered beforehand. This leads to reduced waiting times and optimally planned and allocated resources, which in turn results in CO2 reductions.
